Even if you can come come only for one day – during your cruise or a brief visit to the Netherlands – it is possible to have an interesting learning event with Dutch dairy farmers. This was recently the case owhen the cruise ship with a group of US farmers stayed for one day in Amsterdam harbour.  During this day the group learnt about the background of Dutch dairy farming, visited a famous a truly sustainable cheese making farm with Jersey cows, and a multi-functional goat farm!
